Funeral Parlour Hörbranz

The neutral funeral parlour is illuminated by light passing through a continuous slit. Texture only originates from the horizontal formwork of the white varnished fair-faced concrete walls on the inside. The entrance area is clad in oak panels and thus constitutes the opposite pole to the boarding of the exposed concrete.

Elementary School and Kindergarten Satteins

The new building of the elementary school and the new kindergarten flank the old school building. The new rooms of the elementary school and the kindergarten are made of white pine. The center is the completely glazed multi-purpose room that features a remarkable art and building project. Attention is attracted by the color scheme and structure of the concrete facade.

Fire Station Wolfurt

The lofty tower with a steel staircase contrasts the compact low-rise building. The development areas are minimised by an ingenious arrangement of the various functional areas. It took some effort to adapt the in-situ concrete structure to passive energy standards.
