The two-story house in the Rheintalhaus in Mühlebach, a very old part of Dornbirn, has been "excellently" renovated. The old part of the building had to remain in use as a guest house; in the new building you can visit the architect of this project.

The focus of the school is ecology which is represented by the building. New outdoor areas are created by the two buildings that are separated over ground. The facade consists of a two-layered structure made of wood and glass covered with scaly glass slats.

The revitalization of the former citizen's home in Satteins on the hill copies the typical structure of the village. A clearly structured extension corresponds to the large-scale farmyard of the original building.

A construction of prefabricated reinforced concrete has been added to the existing restaurant at 1700 m above sea level. The architecture provides a new hotel concept which has been implemented in clear and uncompromising forms with courage and steadfastness.

An idyllic place near the old town was an appealing starting point. The three buildings strongly respond to the topology and follow the natural setting of the back slope and the valleys.

A 58 meter long, wooden living cube floats above the architect’s office on the ground floor. The bright, transparent office rooms and apartments with spacious terraces which are accessible by exterior, wooden staircases, constitute the quality of the clear, pragmatic and above all ecological building structure.

The new building in its prominent location opposite the harbour follows the course of the road and forms two courtyards by wrapping the existing L-shaped building in a block-like manner. The glazed upper floors with metal slats rest on a base area of black concrete.

The slim, small structure in front of the Kunsthaus shows the same attributes on the inside as on the outside: Black. Minimalistic. Elegant. An urban feeling is tangible during the summer months. Designer odds and ends can be bought in the shop.

Haus Gisingen expertly combines public functions such as a cafe, a library, a nursing care association and an advice center for mothers with the residential home for elderly people, hidden behind the church but still located in the center. The distinctive roof is visible from afar.

The new wing is an extension to the existing hotel complex; it is structured by the added layer of balconies made of light wood. It offers spacious rooms and imposing mountain scenery.

The Vetterhof is located between Dornbirn and Lustenau. It is an entity which combines housing, livestock farming, storage as well as product processing and refinement. Own produced organic products are sold in the farm shop.

In the mountain village and high society skiing resort Warth the two-class school is equipped with all special rooms that are available for the village community as well. The large cantilevered roof that can carry 500 tons of snow attracts attention.

The Heimann-Rosenthal villa in Gründerzeit style houses a historic site: the Jewish museum. The careful renovation and preservation of the bourgeois living environments as well as the reserved and dignified presentation of the documents enable visitors to immerse themselves into a different time.

The well-known, first solar powered school in Austria which offers an extensive view of the Rhine valley, supplies itself with 80% of the heating energy with solar panels on the roof of the south facade.
